The project's main idea was to make the most simple and convenient application that would allow users far from crypto to be involved in its use.
Liber is more than a wallet, the app allows users to make deposits, borrow money, issue invoices, and more.
The design was based on research into applications: Revolut, Wise, Zellepay, Coinbase and many others. User interaction maps were built for each service.
An experienced person will notice that the app resembles Revolut. This is true. Many of their solutions are so good that we decided not to reinvent the wheel, but to reuse the best.
A globe with arrows characterizing the translation was chosen as a metaphor for the logo. The second meaning is currency exchange.
In working on the app, we focused on the main scenario - sending money worldwide. We tried to make it as simple and convenient as possible, studying the best practices of the current day.
Cryptocurrency was chosen as an initial, simpler solution from the regulators' point of view.
To make registration as easy as possible for the user, I tried to stick to a simple UX recommendation - one meaningful action per screen.
Since we would work with crypto, it was necessary to go through the KYC process. All steps were made as illustrative as possible to simplify this process.
The main screen is a landing page that gives access to all the functions of the application. Please note that by default the total balance is displayed in the currency of the country in which the user is located.
The user can operate with the usual fiat currency while having cryptocurrency processing under the hood.
Sending funds deserves special attention. The user can either send funds to an existing contact or send money using a payment link. In each case, we involve the users in our application.
To send funds via a payment link, it is enough to specify the currency in which the transfer will be made, the currency the end user should receive, and the link is available for sharing. The user can send the link in any convenient way.
The UX of the application is made in such a way that regardless of the method of sending funds, each recipient becomes a user of the application.
With the help of an illustrator, a pack of unique illustrations was created for the project.
I try to solve problems at every level of interaction, not only for users but also for all stakeholders. The result of the work was a presentation compiled for investors.
